Our epidemiologists and data analysts have provided critical support to several divisions within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) amid the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to provide support studying other infectious communicable diseases with potentially global impacts.
Data Analytics and Statistics
We provide general data analytic and specialized support to the Department of Health and Human Services. Our laboratory scientists and support staff at CDC and FDA analyze data from scientific projects and programs using appropriate programs (e.g., Excel, BLAST, etc.). We collect data, tabulate, and conduct basic data analysis calculations (Mean, SD, SEM). We summarize data and prepare graphs, tables and charts as requested by the Division Leads.
Goldbelt provides bioinformatics experts to assist the CDC and FDA in collecting and analyzing biological data, such as genetic codes and sequencing. Our experts work with complex samples to increase knowledge and strengthen databases related to a variety of public health projects.
